Why Use A Solar Pool Heater

You don’t have to be an environmentalist to want to save money on your pool’s electric bill. That’s just common sense.

While your pool probably costs quite a bit more than you thought to heat, there is an alternative that can save you thousands. Just by changing out your current heating system to a solar pool heater, you’ll be saving money and helping the environment.

The comforting warmth of a heated pool in the dead of winter is like no other. And for Floridians, when it gets cold, you know we compare it to feeling like we are in Iceland. No need to fret anymore about your electric bill and your pool’s heating system, we have a simple solution to this.

How Does A Solar Pool Heater Work?

There are just a few things that need to be done to get your solar panel heater up and running. Before you know it, you’ll be swimming stress-free in a blue lagoon of warmth.

    • Add Gator Clamps. While the name worries some, they are just clamps that are added to your roof or sunny spot. We promise, no gators here. They are solely needed to expand and contract for the solar panels to move and angle themselves for the best sunlight and maximum amount of power.

  • Connect PVC Pipe. Water will be transported via the pvc pipe. A panel clamp gasket connects these while protecting your roof. This clamp is added to the top and bottom to make sure everything is secured.
  •  Solar Collectors Connect. These collectors’ purpose is to harvest the sun’s energy creating heat and therefore, heating your water in your pool. Pool water travels in the feed line to the PVC pipe connected to the solar panels and then back in a return line to the pool.

It’s Just That Simple
